The Trash Dogs is a volunteer organization dedicated to maintaining trash free national forest lands and all roads in Curry County Oregon. The Trash Dogs are an entirely volunteer organization. Anyone may participate and volunteers are encouraged to join. Supplies, mileage and dump fees are funded through the Forest Service via a Title II grant authorized under the Secure Rural Schools and Community Self-Determination Act. Towing and salvage companies, Curry Transfer and Recycling, heavy equipment companies, local land owners and citizen donations are critical to the Trash Dogs success.
